Join us as Gonzaga University and the Spokane Community come together for a brief, powerful ceremony supporting global justice. By linking arms, participants will form a human chain, which represents the value of actively supporting inclusion and human difference. Members of the GU and local community will offer remarks and there will be time for reflection and song!

International Day of Tolerance was originally designated by the United Nations in 1996 as a time for people to learn about respecting and recognizing the rights and beliefs of others. It is also a time of reflection and discussion on the negative effects of intolerance.

The event is free and open to the public.  Refreshments will be offered and parking is free.
