Directed by faculty Kathleen Jeffs along with Sara Romersberger from Southern Methodist University,Troilus & Cressida brings us into a world at war, the world of Homer's Iliad, a world of young men, egos, sexuality and betrayal.  Women find their way in this world using the weapons of sexuality and expediency.  Hope and love are snatched at, life is messy and physical.

Shakespeare's Troilus & Cressida reminds us that desire, ambition and competing goals have always been a part of the human experience.  Does Cressida truly love Troilus?  Does it matter?  Imagine the smell of the sand and the sea.  See the blood and sweat.  Find the beauty and joy still present in times of desperation and violence.  Friendship, loyalty, lust, sword fights and snappy songs!

Troilus & Cressida features an all-student case with scenic and lighting design by faculty Courtney Smith and costume design by faculty Leslie Stamoolis.
